The golden frame shines in the sun. A lot is going on in Dubai beyond the malls and souks inside, and from my point of view, the view moves. You can still see parts of the small fishing village that was Dubai when you look at the Dubai creek. Abras (wooden boats) are all over the water. But this enchanted frame also lets you see something else. With 830 meters, Burj Khalifa is one of the tallest buildings in the world, making it one of the tallest buildings in the world.

This is the Dubai Frame, which the Guinness Book of Records calls “the largest building resembling a photo frame.” Located in Dubai. 150 meters long and 95 meters wide, it’s hard to forget and it’s a great way to start your trip to Dubai. You can see different times in the frame to make the photo more interesting. There are many places in Dubai where the past and the future come together, and they all come together in a slightly ethereal spirit. If you want to go back in time, follow my list.

DUBAI FRAMEWORK

Inside the Dubai Frame is a museum that tells the history of Dubai. To my surprise, when I entered, I saw scenes from diving pearls come to life through multimedia. The sellers, in this case holograms, try to buy me herbs, myrrh and incense by placing them in the rooms where I see them. Traditional Arabic music plays in the background. This helps pave the way for the story. I remember the 80s, 90s and beyond when I went to the emirate earlier. There is another floor that reflects recent history. As I climb the frame, I see what the future holds: Thanks to interactive screens and augmented reality, I can see what Dubai will look like in 50 years. When I got to the viewing platform, the gift came back to me. From the balcony there I see a beautiful panorama of Dubai.

FERKEN ATLANTIS, DE PALM

Plato’s utopian city is real. Atlantis is located on the island of Palm Jumeirah, which is part of a large man-made archipelago that includes Palm Deira and Palm Jebel Ali. You can go to this fantasy world of Atlantis. You can be there to get to the resort. Atlantis has its own heliport.

This is how it looks from above: The hotel looks like a giant palace rising out of the water. There are floor-to-ceiling glass and glass tubes above the lobby areas that make it look like a real place in the lobby. Sixty-five thousand people live in them. I see stingrays, sharks, and colored clownfish (like Nemo).

At first, I don’t know what to think about this world. I signed up for a tour that will take me to a “fish hospital” where I met an Arabian shark, an endangered species.

Atlantis has a shark breeding program that helps it grow and populate the Arabian Gulf. The Marine Biologist program is great for young people who want to learn more about the environment. People who follow us may never see the Hawksbill again, which is a shame. These creatures can overpopulate the seabed, leading to erosion and coral death. The behind-the-scenes tour introduced me to a wide range of species, their eating habits and how they arrange regular doctor’s visits, blood tests, blood tests, sex, ultrasound and other tests that can keep them healthy. Aquatic life and how to help make the world a better place are two things you will learn about Atlantis.

DUBAI MUSEUM AND MUSEUM OF THE FUTURE

They stand at the entrance to honor the village where the story begins. Some maps show how the panorama in the walls changes over time. It’s great to see it all at once and how far this little emirate is. You’ll also see Dallas (Arabic coffee pots), coins, pearls, and more. Dioramas show how Dubai looked in the beginning.

There is a Museum of the Future a short drive away. It opened in February 2022. Arabic calligraphy with quotes by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum is on the unusual oval-shaped front of the building. This makes the building unique. Three sections talk about new things that will help us get into the future.

Creative thinking, lasting things and the power of dreams are still important building blocks. Visitors to this place can enter space stations, travel to distant places and learn about the Earth’s place in space. In addition, it also makes us think about what it might be like to live in other worlds.

A third floor takes visitors into a digital Amazon, where they learn about how we’re hurting the Earth. People can play a role in reviving the Earth with interactive features that let you mix and match DNA to make new species and bring back species that have died out.

There is yet another room in the museum where mental health is a break from technology. This is almost ironic. You should turn off your phones when you’re in this area. Other sections include automation, artificial intelligence, and other interesting technologies in various fields, from transport (I mean flying cars) to medicine, health, and technology. If you’ve been through a lot of different things, you know the future is here. The way we trade today could set the direction for the coming decades.

DUBAI miracle garden

Dubai has many green areas. As for the oasis, the Dubai Miracle Garden is the first place to go. On Valentine’s Day in 2013, the garden opened for the first time. But it closed for a short time during Covid. It reopens in November 2021. In bad weather, the gardens are only open for a short time each year. If you visit before April 30, 2022, you will see that the dream of real life is true. All of these things inhabit “the largest natural flower garden in the world.” It has more than 100 million flowers, 250 million plants and 15,000 butterflies. The garden goes one step further and has various themes. The Smurfs debuted this year. They were even larger and sat in the middle of the most colorful flower arrangements to add a bit of drama. My favorite is a functional flower bell, in which the flowers change with the season. It’s another way to show that time is essential.
